They had quite a few more hits in Canada. Great ones too, like 'She's So Young' and 'Hard to Laugh'.

she also had a hit with "stay" from the reality bites soundtrack.

now there's a movie that i thought was terrible and i just couldn't get into, but the soundtrack was incredible. well, maybe not incredible, but it was damn good.

I knew this appeared on some 1992 Billboard Modern rock sampler, but I never knew it was a hit. ?? I figured if they had some semblance of a hit, it would have come from the first album.

Rosalia got considerable airplay in Milwaukee, since Deluxe happened to break just as Hot 102 (the hip-hop/rap/r n' b station) was converting to New Rock 102.1, thus the Better than Ezra would have been one of the first discs to cross the music director's desk and get added to rotation.

And I still say, Sponge were three, four years ahead of their time with Wax Ecstatic.

better than ezra had at least one single from every album. of course you'd only know that if you were a closet bte fan (me) or if you listen to your local adult contemporary station. in chicago, the mix 101.9 loooooves them some better than ezra. and train. ick.

I remember leaving an aborted house-party on Milwaukee's east-side on an eve in Oct '99, and as my friend turned the ignition, the radio came up, and it was Train. We didn't know it at first - hadn't heard it enough times, yet - and were trying to figure out what that shit was. Horrid.

It was the song for which the video featured a doe-eyed, beaten-down waitress... Titleplzkthnx.
