Why don't you post the list here for those of us who don't want to go back to CMJ?

i think maybe 3 of those will be on my list. the very fact that interpol is on the list is kinda silly.

how's that for elitist bullshit?

I dunno...that's a fairly decent list....Not as safe as I was expecting, but exactly as "eclectic"...

the good = i don't dislike any of those records, though none of them will be on my top 20. also, i will always approve of making fun of Jay Leno.

bad = You kinda gave a solid reason for Interpol being on the list, and you didn't even attempt to justify Modest Mouse. I mean, i guess a list thats simply "hey, we like these records" doesn't need much to back it up, but it still would've been nice.

i'll be checking out adem and joanna newsome shortly

obviously you're more knowledgable than me...
but Skinner and Dizzee just missed my top 50. And I'm debating with Skinnyman. Ty is in for sure. Odds are Skinny will miss it. I haven't heard much else (album wise). I heard parts of Wiley and that's about it. You should hook me up sometime soon.

you pretty muched named all 5 im considering. if roots manuva put out an album this year, he'd most likely be on my list too. i just wish the scene would get more talk about those who arent dizzee rascal and mike skinner, cause theres some people out there who are really good.
