Timmy, help me think of a good bengals-flavored name for a dog. I was thinking of Munoz or Whodey, but i don't want to run the risk of people thinking that i have a dog named "hootie".

Boomer?

Yeah, one of my dogs is named Herschel---I'm not exactly the king of subtle.

And I guess Rudi has too much a tie-in to the movie, right?

TJ is his nickname. And he is one ugly mofo.

Chase,

I'll come up with a name. How about Norman? It's Boomer's real first name.
Or Johnson, half the team is Johnson. Or Tab, that's a cool one. Or Perry since there are 2 of them. Thurman sounds pretty tough. How about Willie, or Mr. Anderson since that guy is awesome and has been a lot of rough years with the team since he has played 10 years. He needs some props.

yeah, i just can't picture myself yelling "Rudi!" in the park. I'm thinking of Carl Pickens or James Brooks. Althought "Klingler" would be pretty funny.

Ki-Jana? In 1996 we apparently had Jeff Blake, KiJana and Garrison Hearst. And i probably thought that we were gonna win it all.

Akili would be the funniest. Or what was that running back we got who played like 2 downs? I think he was from Penn St.

How about Kitna, or Hollas, Breech or that bad-ass defensive guy who broke his leg in the superbowl. I know ya'll remember that play, I can't think of his name, it is slipping my mind.

Yea, Krumrie, but that's too hard to pronounce.

My favorites are:

Kitna
Thurman
Tab
Norman

Glad to see the Bears D well represented. It's weird, as much as I love football -- far and away my favorite sport -- I have never watched a pro bowl beyond the first quarter.

You're right, besides being faster, smarter, a better pass rusher, tackler, run stopper, and coverage man he's much worse than Zach Thomas.

Thank you.

pretty much. Carson's a big bad dude and i wouldn't fuck with him in the street but it'd be hard to pull off with dignity as a dog's name.

haven't decided yet. the wife is insistent that a house with a yard comes first, but i think that i'm going to be ready to do that in a few months.
