Couldn't even stomach football after a devastating KC loss the week before to another weak Indy squad. Lin Elliot was seen at the airport departing KC no less than an hour after the game. I still have the unburned effigy at home.

I'll still take Tamarick Vanover with two kilos of blow strapped to each leg over Dante Hall anyday. Dude was a horse. A horse, unfortuntately, that would beat down his lady every other week.

Perrenial choke machines.

I got a strange sense of schadenfreude last year when The Chargers shit the bed. Marty just ain't a playoff coach...coincidentally (or not) Cowher was one of his assistants in Cleveland.

In other news, our boy E-Junk called me at 4:15 last Sunday, "I TOLD YA KRAUTH, OL' MANNING--A CHOKER JUST LIKE HIS OLD MAN!!!!!"

Almost sad the amount of material NTACS like him and Bort steal from us without proper credit.

WEAK. I was expecting the "Manning is a bustah" post within minutes - nay, seconds! - of the conclusion of Chargers-Colts. The fact that didn't happen, that you in fact waited three days, tells me you were weeping over your own Vi-Tech/ATL bustah. Give it up for Michaelol Vick.

The guy I share a cubicle with at work is the son of the ref who called Harbaugh's Hail Mary at the end of this game incomplete. Honest injun! Mofo is now Supervisor of Big 12 officials.

I'll never forget going out to my car after that game & seeing a crazy dude out on the street screaming about how he "never cared if that Gawddamned team EVER won anything, the fuckers" at the top of his homeless lungs.

Mrs. Dawg used to work with a girl that went out with him a few times. I was like "Uh...you think that's a good idea?" Apparently she broke it off cuz he was pressuring her too much to "give it up".

And why Carl Peterson still gets a raise and contract extension as GM is way beyond me.

Don't. Even. Get. Me. Started.

Carl's solely responsible for my conversion from die-hard to at-best-casual-fan. And to answer the question, he gets those raises & extensions because there's still enough people around here dumb enough to fall for his horseshit & willing to pay an increase in tix & parking prices every season. Lamar Hunt couldn't fucking care less about winning a Super Bowl.
