Timmy, you seem to be psyching yourself out, either because you hate your wife, or you hate yourself because you are too dim, or too poor to buy her what she really wants.

Think back to the time when you were just dating..what type of stuff did you guys do then? What would you have bought her for her birthday then? Even if its a day trip to a little restaurant, or some special flowers she really likes, it will show her that you put some THOUGHT into it.

it's almost too late for anything too fancy, but a small keepsake with yours and hers names, and christmas '05, or "8 years strong" or "you should married that other dude" will really slay her..all except that last part.

Sack up, drop some coin, and get her something she deserves, mang.

(sorry if this was harsh, but the above could be called giving someone the Bloor treatment)
