Not really a Christmas Carol but I hate Rockin Aroung the Christmas. Holly Jolly Christmas is pretty awful too now that you mention it.

i don't mind the female-sung "rockin", but the one with the guy singing also sends me into a fit of rage.

Any (both?) of the ones with "rock" in title or chorus.

I don't hate any, because recently NAHS took art club caroling at this nursing home and it was adorable to see the old people laughing and clapping and singing along. I wanted to cry because they looked so happy and appreciative.
Thus, no Christmas song is a bad song. Any one will put a smile on an elderly persons face.

I hate the female (is that Brenda Lee) version, but that goddamn Paul McCartney song makes me want to be buried alive.

Because all elderly people are mildly retarded.

Yeah, what she said.

A second, I think, for "Jingle Bell Rock".

Rads, did that pic come from New Orleans?

I think the Vince Guaraldi Charlie Brown Christmas record is one of the all-time great records ever made, holidays or not.

That McCartney song is so bad. Any goof song that would be played on morning drive-time radio is automatically horrible.

The scariest is the "Carol of the Bells" - all minor chords and shrieking and building, building, building. Seriously nightmare-inducing.

Does "Simply Having a Wonderful Christmas Time" count?
