It's a turkey that someone drew a scary face on. I did a search for "funny turkey picture" or something and this is what I got. It's my Thanksgiving avatar and I believe the picture is called "turkey from hell."

Don Caballero--American Don

You know, I've never heard that one. I have II and III but not this one. I really loved that first 7" they put out too, but I can never find that track

ooh! I think you'd dig it SK. It's a good progression from Burns. It's a cleaner recording than some of their earlier works, but there's a LOT more going on in the songs. I find that compared to say, II, AD is not as heavy sound wise, but more heavy musically--just a denser album--if that makes any sense.

What was the name of the 7" you were referring to? It may well be on the Singles Breaking Up comp from '99.

I'm pretty sure it's on the comp. I think it's called "Unresolved Karma" and it's backed with "Puddin' In My Eye". It came out in fall of '92. I think the comp version is floating around somewhere out there but the 7" had these quotes from the Don Caballero sketch from SCTV at the beginning and end of the song too...just threw it way over the top.

It's a totally unique band though...hard to find another band that does instrumentals where the focal point and frontman is actually the drummer...maybe A Minor Forest is roughly similar....

Winners Never Quit

The Hour of Bewilderbeast (Or was this '99? Where's fastnbulbous with his pedantry when you need him? (Pedantry used in the manner of Maggie Lee, a Boston (really, Allston) scenester who went to my college.))

You probably also found my old one, the sunburned turkey.

Did you get this baby picture through that search? I didn't see that one.

I went with Outkast. I guess Heartbreaker would be second.

frightening sometimes, innit?

I would guess that the Sen. will be with us as well.

Yeah, though that was my least favorite Kast album to date, damn did we bump it, and B.O.B. is STILL HOTT like Fire.
