It's a good thing you've got that Uncle Tupelo part in the middle or I was about to shit all over this.

Just kidding, kind of. You've got a good voice and the harmonies are also very good, but stay away from that slow mopey indie shit in the first half of the song. If you made your whole band like middle part then that would be something I'd want to buy.

Thanks for the honest feedback.
There are only a couple of songs on the disc that are the "slow. mopey indie shit". That one being one of them. The song was a bit of an experiment --- I wanted to write something along the lines of a "Live and Let Die", with the different parts and stuff. It's not as accomplished as Macca's effort (duh!), but I did what I set out to do. (Although I would still like the addition of a horn section on there.)

Thanks again and give a listen to the other stuff at my IAC page over there... you may like it. None of the rest of it is mopey.

Sure, I'll check it out and get back to you.

That one guy in your band has an UNCANNY resemblance to D. Boon. Has he ever gotten that before?

I liked it too, Todd. But I actually have the opposite opinion of Blue Milk, I liked the slow build, and didn't find it mopey. I wasn't as fond of the shift in the song's tempo. Still, I enjoyed it. Not as much as Ashes on the Water though. I think that's brilliant.
