Thankfully we're local this year. We go to my mom's on saturday, and my brother's on sunday. OH Happiness.

flying to North Carolina tomorrow - spending my days in Cedar Grove, NC - about 15 miles northwest of Durham. right across the road from the lawn mower pull "stadium" and the coon club, both run by my father in law.

I'm travelling from my bedroom to the bathroom, to the kitchen, make a detour at the dining room and swing around back to the bedroom again. It's gonna be exhausting.

EVERY TOWN I have lived in in the past 10 years, incl. Athens, had a huge Steelers contingent. They always take over ONE BAR in town...SO ANNOYING.

Athens = Mellow Mushroom on Broad St.

Me, I'm making the 7hr. drive down to Americus, GA to see the folks, then up to Hamilton, GA to see my bro, his wife and kids, then driving back to Nashville on the 27th so I can make it back for my follow up appt. w/ my surgeon.

because to my wife, a guy that owns a jacket that does not have a NASCAR number on it is like a revalation.

I am currently sitting in a house located in Sharonville, OH. Sharonville is just north of Cincinnati. I'll return to Athens on the 27th. My grandmother didn't say anything about the blue hair; I think she is in denial.

Haha! Good one. Mine. She colors hers blonde. In trying to get her to say something about it, I told her this morning that I had considered doing green for the holidays, but the only green dye the store had was a lime green and I didn't think lime would look good. She just said, "Yeah I like dark green" and told me about her trying to buy a hoodie at some winery she visited and they didn't have dark greek, only grass green. She skated the hair subject completely.

Whoa, another OH obner? I actually just got into my little hometown of Urbana last night after two days on the road. I am heading back to Denver early next week.
