I'm looking for a decent pair of headphones (noise cancelling or otherwise). Can anyone recommend a pair?

Two caveats:

I'm not partial to buds and I'm currently jobless so Bose is obviously out of the question.

Thanks!

Take that link and absorb.

It really depends on what you are going to do with them, whether portable or not. I wouldn't go with noise-cancelling, just spend a little cash and get some good ones. If you are going to wear them out and about, I highly recommend the Sennheiser PX-100 or the Koss PortaPro.

If you are going to sit at home, I've heard many good things about Grados.

I just got a pair of Sennheiser PX-200's for my birthday and they rock. Some folks here suggested them.

They are collapsible, noise canceling, and have cushions. The sound quality is really good as well. I don't think they are for stereo's but you can buy a $2 adapter to make it compatible with the stereo.

I use them with my Ipod when I'm working outside or on trips or something.

You can get them online at Best Buy for about $60. Really good bang for the buck.
