In truth, I don't think anybody fucking knows how to drive, and being out during the Christmas season does absolutely NOTHING to refute that belief.

And Stu, I guarantee Jonesboro, GA where I work can give NashVegas a run for its money. I've never seen so many idiots in my life.

In the official 2005 Worst Drivers in the USA "Run for the Money"...... NashVegas = cheetah
Jonesboro = sloth

I was on S.R. 54 in Jonesboro last night (hopped on from I-75 to get to US 19). Is that where your self-storage units are? I saw some and though of you.

Yeah, one property is on 19/41S just south of SR 138. Its the one with the big time/temp sign with blue neon.

Why didnt you just get off at the Griffin/Jonesboro 19/41 exit?

HA!!! Yes! Those are the ones I'm talking about. I know where your self-storage units are!! Small world (too small if you ask me, that's just kind of weird). The traffic didn't back up until about 3 exits south, so I backtracked for about 30 min., got lost, bought a map then went 80mph on US 19 after I got passed Lovejoy. I made it to Americus in record time, and now I know a shorter way home.

Sweet dude. Just for future reference: Don't speed in that area of Henry County just below Love joy around Atlanta Motor Speedway. Its a fucking notorious speedtrap (I go down that way to the bank twice a week) Once you hit Spalding County though its pedal to the metal.

Small world indeed. And yeah, that is the best way to go to Americus.

It seems as though here, in CA, only the rich people don't signal. They should hire someone to sit in the passenger seat to flick the lever.

Lazy fucks.

I'd say its at the opposite ends---the richer or poorer you are, the worse driver you are. I guess the common thread is that neither group really gives a shit.

So, the middle class are good drivers? Come to Nashville, it will blow your mind. When it comes to driving, the town is class free. Nearly everyone is equal in their inteptitude. I need to check to see if Tennessee even required driver's education before you get a license or if it's more a mob mentality thing. Maybe people come to Nashville knowing how to drive then are influenced by the dumbass majority then they descend into lazy fucks that try to get me killed.

No kidding, man. I thought Memphis was bad (well, we were number one for red light fatalities for quite a while), but Nashville drivers are retarded. And I don't mean that as an insult, I simply mean that they should be wearing fucking helmets and drool-guards. Nobody signals, everybody drives UNDER the speed limit, and I come quite close to dying every time I head down to the Musica roundabout. It's two lanes motherfucker, did you see a merge sign? I didn't.

Thanks for backing me up on this one. I work in the Roundabout Plaza building, so I know exactly what you mean. Do this: when facing 17th (aka Music Square) try turning left (when in the TURNING LANE) to go around the roundabout and see if people don't honk and freak out because they think you're in THEIR lane. Seriously, Nashville drivers are fucking rejects.

i'm fucking sick. on top of that, i just found out this morning that my family is planning on exchanging presents tomorrow- i had been under the assumption (after asking several times, mind you) that we were not doing that because of our trip. so i was supposed to go shopping with my mom today, even though i feel like complete utter shit, and she goes to run some errands while i get ready. i wait for her for an hour after she was supposed to get back, and i fall asleep while waiting. and now we're fighting because she thinks i'm being lazy. fuck this shit.

oh you know what i think is worse? when people leave their signal on, forget it's on and keep driving. RAWR!

today i'm annoyed that i'm letting stupid things get to me. i hate people who have double standards. that is all.

Yeah, remember what I said in the original thread about trying to get her back, etc. Yeah, well FUCK THAT! I wouldn't go cheat (or whatever it is now) to get even, because then you stoop as low as she did (this may not even have entered your mind, but I figured it would be a common thought). My suggestion: listen to some Slayer and get rip roaring mongered out. Or, drive up to Dallas to go to the Old 97s show with Sen. GAR and FT.

I find myself cleaning house and watching a lot of tv on dvd.

It sucks when you find out that the person you respected and cared about more than anything was shitting all over that which you valued. All I can guess is that she is way off the deep end, and there's nothing I can do to help her.

suckage.

Wow you do not fucking deserve that. It'll take some time, but believe me, you will find someone who loves you and will treat you with nothing but respect like you deserve.

I will kill that bitch if you'd like me too. I am only 17 so maybe I can still be tried as a kid? Maybe not.. Oh well, I don't care, I will still kill her.

now there's the xmas spirit.

sorry to hear about the broken marriage. i had one of those this time last year and got divorced over the summer. get through the holidays and start fresh in january. let yourself feel everything, though. if you still love her (i'm sure you do... even after awful occurances, we still love), keep loving. if you're angry, let loose. if you feel like staying in on a friday, watching bad tv and crying, do it. i don't know you, but i do know what a failing marriage feels like and it hurts worse than anything i've ever experienced in my life (death excluded, of course). i hope you can recover in decent time from this...

as for grievances, i found myself snapping at a nine year old today at whole foods. she was looking right at me while she blocked my cart with her cart and smallish body. her mom was an asshole, so i didn't feel too bad snapping at her at the time, but now i feel like a jerk.

now, i'm drinking wine, cooking for friends, and listening to the shins. life is back to normal...

i love you guys - with you, no grievances.

cemetary - she's walking her walk right now, and I don't really think that she is well. when she settles down and looks inside, I expect that she's going to hurt as much as I do now. I just hope for healing for the both of us, no matter how this turns out.

Like Red said this is one of the most painful losses you can experience. I came home from work one day and my husband was sitting on the couch waiting for me and told me that he had rented an apartment and he was moving out. No reasons. Just said he'd call me after he had some time to think.

As he drove away I remember thinking what about all his stuff and slowly realizing as I looked around the house that he had taken all his electronic stuff, cds, and personal belongings. It really hurt that he had been planning this and I didn't know a thing!

The most frustrating thing for me was that I couldn't get ahold of him on the phone. I remember just wanting to ask him what the hell was going on but having no way to reach him. When he finally did contact me I told him that he owed it to me to answer my questions and he agreed, and although it didn't change anything, it really helped me to realize that he was totally fucked up.

Eventually, he wanted to come back and I let him and after I had that distance to see what he was really like, I really didn't want him back and we separated for good.

And what's with the timing! This happened three weeks before my birthday. Co-incidence? I think not!

Two of my male friends are going through the same thing as you right now. Both have found out that their wives are seeing someone else. The saddest one is the one who has two kids and just found out that the kids will be spending part of their Christmas vacation with the new "boyfriend's" family!!! Talk about wanting to kill someone!

I hope you get through the holidays unscathed. Like Red said, it does get easier in the New Year.

Here's a link to a stat I found interesting:

http://www.divorcepeers.com/stats38.htm

Warning: Avoid alcohol at all costs! It will only make you do stupid things that you cannot take back. And you may end up crying like a baby.

Sorry to hear about your wife. Chuck. :( Sort of makes my personal grievances (FUCK you Keith, you're an absolute TWAT and deserve NO ONE) seem petty by comparison.

Oh, and FUCK ALL H8TERS
