Well, I don't know where your Bears cronies are today, but I'll add to the thread:

Bears @ Seahawks, Sunday, January 22, 2006! It's on. Seahawks 27 Bears 17.

Give me a goddamn break. The Seahags will NEVER, repeat, NEVER put up 27 on our defense.

Super Bears, Super Bowl.

Hmmm. The hapless Packers just dropped 17 on your vaunted D---I don't think Seattle will have any trouble topping that.

And who will Seattle lose to in the 2nd round, at home? Tampa? Carolina? The only team I would be a little concerned about losing to in the 2nd round would be the Giants---and I still think Seattle would win that one.

It's gonna be fun.

Did you watch the game? Obviously not. 7 points were scored on special teams, and the Bears were missing three starters on defense. Starting two rookies at safety, and one of the three starters out is a pro bowler.

Not to mention, we were facing our biggest rival and a hall of fame quarterback. Favre > Hasselbeck, any day of the week.

By the way, beating the Rams twice, Cardinals twice, 49ers twice, Texans and Titans is REALLY impressive. Oh, AND a game against the Giants that was handed to you by horrible kicking.

Fuck the Seahawks.

Yea the Bengals only put up 24, so there is no way Seattle will hit 27.

Bears survived bad play-calling, atrocious tackling and still won comfortably.

Super Bears, Super Bowl indeed. I do think it will come down to us winning in the second worst sports town in the US, Seattle. Not worried.

did anyone not know that game was going to end on an interception?

i'm tired of seeing how many games Favre has won on the last drive. Lets start seeing how many Int's he's thrown on the last drive.

This was probably the most exciting Bears game all year.

VIKINGS, YOU'RE NEXT!

YES, I WATCHED THE GAME. EVERYONE HAS INJURIES---THE SEAHAWKS HAVE BEEN MISSING 3 OF THEIR 4 STARTING SECONDARY OVER THE LAST 3 GAMES, YET HAVE WON ALL 3---INJURIES ARE MOOT, AS ALL NFL TEAMS ENDURE INJURIES

Not to mention, we were facing our biggest rival and a hall of fame quarterback. Favre > Hasselbeck, any day of the week.

FAVRE>HASSELBECK ANY DAY OF THE WEEK IN 1999. YOU OBVIOUSLY HAVEN'T BEEN WATCHING SEATTLE PLAY THIS SEASON, AS HASSELBECK IS LEAPS AND BOUNDS BETTER THAN FAVRE AT THIS POINT IN TIME--ABSOLUTLEY NO QUESTION.

By the way, beating the Rams twice, Cardinals twice, 49ers twice, Texans and Titans is REALLY impressive. Oh, AND a game against the Giants that was handed to you by horrible kicking.

YEAH, MUCH LESS IMPRESSIVE THAN BEATING THE PACKERS TWICE, THE LIONS TWICE, THE VIKINGS, THE SAINTS, THE RAVENS AND THE 49ERS. NOT TO MENTION A LOSS TO THE BROWNS----OWNED. OH, AND A GAME AGAINST THE BUCS THAT WAS HANDED TO YOU BY HORRIBLE KICKING.

Fuck the Seahawks.

AND NO, DON'T FUCK THE BEARS. I'VE BEEN IMPRESSED WITH THEIR SEASON, AND AM REALISTIC IN MY ANALYSIS, UNLIKE YOU.

I HOPE THEY MEET IN THE NFC TITLE GAME.

You really think so? I think the Bears, with that D can slow down anybody, and I'm not discounting what the Seahawks can do either. They are a balanced as hell team with an underrated defense.

And what the hell is going on with the Redskins? Is this 1984?

Anyway, the point is that none of those AFC teams, whether it be the Colts or New England or whoever is that much better than the NFC.

Yeah, that had nothing to do with a rookie QB throwing 5 interceptions in that game. Did you ever stop to wonder why Palmer only had 169 passing yards against us? They were playing on a short field all day.

By the way, FOUR of those five INTs were in the first half, and they only managed to score 10 points off of it. The Bengals punted NINE times, and were 2-14 on third down. But go ahead and just look at the final score, you're right. The Bears D sucks.

why are we talking title game when history shows the Seahawks incapable of even winning one playoff game per year?

One thing at a time...
