This is pretty much the same way I feel about it. Valentine's Day, too - you know, I try to be sweet to Mrs. Dawg everyday...not just when Hallmark sez I have to.

Our plans are just to stay home & eat a bunch of stuff that's bad for us. I guess ESPN's got some countdown show with the New York Dolls & Mooney Suzuki, so that sounds promising.

exorcising the demons of last New Years Eve, which saw a tangled web of anger, alcohol, misplaced lust and infidelity amongst a few friends collapse, ending with a long-time (gal) friend waking up at noon on 1/1/2005, telling myself and (noob Obner) tetzel1517, "I hate you guys" before walking out of my apartment and never speaking to us again.

This year: Probably making LooGAR jealous and checking out a show/party hosted by MC Breed. There are actually a few things I want to check out, can get comps to all of them, so I might bounce around town all night.
