Updated.

Keep 'em comin'.

Just one thing, if you could submit those releases the way it's written down in the first post it would make my job easier. Much thanks for that.

Sweet, thanks, Jed.

I'll be e-mailing you our release schedule shortly.

You should stop by Casa on Friday. We're having a lil Ninja Hell's Bells Xmas party.

* Edited some more. *

I think I got pretty much all the major indie releases from Jan to April.
Alls we need is to find a UK release date list and we'd be set.

A Ninja party, heh? I like.

Two burning questions...

Will Built to Spill ever record again?

Will the Ian Curtis movie see the light of day (or dark of a movie theatre), in '06?

Yes. But, only cause Samantha Morton has signed on to play Deborah. This was Anton Corbijn's response to "CONTROL" on Suicide Girls:

Quote:
Anton in an interview this week with suicidegirls.com

DRE: Do you have any interest in doing movies?

AC: Well, I’m supposed to do one this year called Control about Ian Curtis.

DRE: Is that a go?

AC: It’s been on the shelf. If anybody wants to send me the spare cash…

DRE: Is there a script?

AC: Yeah.

DRE: Does it start when he was young?

AC: No, just the last few years of his life.

DRE: What made you say, it’s time to do this?

AC: Joy Division is a personal thing. I think I can bring something to the project that’s different. I think it wont look like Hollywood. It wont be as abstract as the Atmosphere video.

Pearl Jam? Does anyone (still) care for this band? There's a band whose time has come and gone.

How the hell could I forget about this:

My all-time favorite band, The Cure, with two must own albums (or in my case four). I have bought all four so far, best investment of 2005, because the first batch of Cure CD's are some of the worst mastered CD's to hit the market. The remastered CD's make you realize how truely amazing the band the Cure actually are. I had no idea that Pornography was that good.

The next batch of releases (The Top, The Head On The Door, Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me and The Glove's Blue Sunshine) are scheduled for release in spring of 2006.

I played Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me last week and it blew me away, some filler but overall bursting with idea after idea, totally awestruck.

Other than The Strokes, J Mascis (are you sure that's a solo album and not his new band Witch?) and possibly Rhett Miller (which I've heard sucks), it appears 2006 will continue in the lameness of 2005 music-wise.

Wow. Excited about these. Gosh, the Goldfrapp is really really delayed! (read: guess it was worth buying the import!)

What's the deal with Bloc Party? They have a new record coming out already? With the title "Helicopter," I'm thinking it must be a single or an EP or something. Anyone know?

02.21 : The Deadstring Brothers (Starving Winter Report)

The Deadstring Brothers have their Bloodshot Records debut coming out in Feb. Pretty cool alt-country type band with kind of a early Band sound (includes a cover of Get Up Jake) mixed with a little of that glitter twins Exile era sound. A little bit of the Jagger swagger in the vocals, but not too much. Released in Europe a couple months ago. There's a few full official mp3 tracks around, but I'll post the links below ...

Actually, this is one of the few releases on that list that excites me in the least.
