Bettis should run all over the Giants. I'd go with Larry Johnson but for whatever reason, they don't give him enough chances. Thomas Jones is a good choice as well.

I'm playing the Bus over Droughns as Droughns production has fallen off.
I voted for Larry, but my buddy who is a die hard Steelers fan said they are going to rest Staley so his ankle and hamstring or whatever can heal a bit for the big Ravens game next week!

btw, if tatum bell can't play this weekend, droughns is a nice start vs a weak kc defense.

Bettis is a good bet for a short yardage TD, even w/ Duce starting. And because Duce still isn't 100%, Bettis should get quality work.

But, if KC committs to giving Larry Johnson the majority of the carries (no guarantee they will, though), I'd go with him, even against the strong Denver D.

Bell will get the majority of the carries if he's healthy. He's someone to consider.

tatum bell seperated his shoulder in the game against miami (3rd degree, i think), so he might be done. i was at that game by the way. my poor poor dolphins. another game they "coulda, shoulda, woulda" won.

Yea, that's what the friggin' NFL site said last week, and that mofo got me 4 points and I lost! Luckily I made the playoffs as the wildcard.

i think its a pick em for bettis or jones. i would actually go with jones, since i dont think chicago has many options other than the run (although hutchinson did look ok in the last game). heres some stats.

against the run:
houston: 119.8 per game
giants 137.5 per game

bettis
johnson splits carries with blaylock and it is always a crap shoot with green bay when it comes to a receiver having a big game

Cheater!!!

I wish I had thought of doing this first. I believe my only hope is if Baltimore keeps Peyton from putting up monster numbers, or that all his TD's are to Reggie Wayne, and not Brandon Stokley.

FYI - Larry Johnson has been named the starter this weekend. Derrick Blalock has a sprained MCL and may not even play.

The Denver D is very good, but so is the KC offense.
