I most recently purchased a pair of these for skating:

Limited edition Bad Religion Vans. I'm not a huge fan of the band but I couldn't pass up the heel logo which consists of a cross with a slash through it. Too cool.

Gotta love the chucka boots. I used to skate and these just melted off my feet, so they were relegated to day to day wear. Mine came complete with shitty gluejob around the sole, and of course the indispensible insole that falls out everytime you take yr foot out. After that all though, they be classics!

Also have to comment on Bad Religion having a shoe. Um, do they not see how against their lyrics and their ethics this goes against?

Hush Puppies! I miss my hush puppies. First time I ever wore a pair of shoes and they felt comfortable. It was like realizing a foreign concept for the first time -- you mean, shoes can be comfortable?

I feel the same way about Birks and Borns, although they're two totally different feelings.

Hey, I didn't know there was another climber on the board! Woo hoo! I had a pair of 5.10 Diamonds that lasted me forever, but due to budget constraints, I'm now wearing Mad Rock Flashes.

As for regular gym shoes, I usually hit up my Nike friend for shoes at half off.
One of these days (maybe since I got some Christmas money), I'll get a pair of the black Puma speed cats.

i can't find the sneakers i want ANYWHERE.

i saw someone wearing them....and i've been on the hunt since.

(they're brown adidas sneakers with powder blue stripes.) (i've seen pink too. i'd wear the pink as well. whichever i can find first.)
