Very low key, but nicely so.

Hey dear Senator, don't knock the New Year's Eve wedding. I had one, and now I'll forever have something to do New Year's Eve - the wife... ummm... TMI

Actually We'll be at Sea on a Cruise to the Bahamas, on the way back to the port in Jacksonville. We are celebrating/observing our 10th anniversary this year. Dunno what we'll do. I suppose I'll buy here some jewelry (pearls or something), take her out to dinner, and then who knows, jump overboard... What do people do on criuises anyway?

Renting a house in Northern Michigan with 2 other couples. W'll basically hole up for 4 days, drink as much as we possibly can, eat like crazy, and take in football in all of its new year's glory. We should be a pretty nice self-contained bar sports unit in the house since it has a foos table, pool table, and ping pong table.
