It would probably involve looking up that map with people's locations and deciding on maybe two or three big cities that are in a certain radius of the majority of the obner population.

Then deciding on a date when the weather is warmer and trying to get as many to participate as possible. There'd be plenty of photos taken and outcomes and happenstances reported back to the board and the other cities.


I've never met anyone off this board in real life. A lot of people on here seem to be old pals so it seems like it would be cool.

I haven't seen the Chicago crew in ages.

They had a sort of Obnerfest a few years ago in Chicago, with many of the then CMJ-posters' bands playing and the local posters attending.

I'm planning on descending down to ATL in late 2006 where I can hopefully hook up with the local crew. That will be the first time I meet any Obs.

why not?

i've only twice been in the presence of more than one fellow obnish at a time. (that doesn't include shows that i later found out was full of us.) otherwise, i usually just meet people one-on-one.

i also post at another board that's more chicago-based and we get together pretty often or just run into each other around town.
