Leisure, but it's not really a fair question, they're all pretty good (yes, even 13) in their own way. I especially like ...Rubbish and Parklife.

MLIR, all the way. At least for the things you want in a blur album. Stright up good music, though, it's closer.

<--- liked Think Tank a lot.

1--Modern Life Is Rubbish
2--Blur
3--Parklife
4--13
5--Think Tank
6--The Great Escape
7--Leisure

The first 4 are stone-cold classics, and #1 and #2 are VERY close. I enjoy all of their albums for sure. It's a shame about The Great Escape, considering it has probably 2 of their 4 or 5 best songs they've ever written.

13 is their best by far. "Tender" and "Coffee & TV" are two of the best songs ever recorded.

Parklife all the way. But their self titled and 13 are tied for second.

1. Parklife
2. Blur
3. 13
4. MLIR
--------------
5. Leisure

I don't think I like The Great Eacape at all, have to revist. Think Tank is patchy but does have some really good songs on it. TT is not really Blur though, without Graham they should change the name to The Blur or something.

Why do I feel there's an album missing? I thought there was a big gap between their first album (Leisure, 1991) and ...Rubbish (1993). Wasn't there a "difficult" second album? Or am I thinking of someone else (Ride, perhaps, Going Blank Again)? Did they really make that radical a transition, and go straight from shoegazer-ish guitar pop to playing jangly and sometimes hard guitar pop?

I thought Think Tank was a little boring, considering what they're capable of. Don't get me wrong, I still keep it, I just don't think I'm going to rush out and get the limited edition of the next one, like I did with 13 and Think Tank.

I don't think I have Great Escape anywhere, I think I'm going to need to fix that, considering the quality of the surrounding albums.

No gap, they did release a single called Popscene that also included the songs “Mace” and “Badgeman Brown” but crashed on the charts. So, if I remember right, they abandoned a bunch of stuff that was almost ready to go. Took a while to come back but when they did they came back with MLIR and then Parklife quite fast after that.
