thanks Timmy and Slap! All are going out today. And thanks for the plug too Timmy! Graham's record is a fantastic record if you like singer/songwriter acoustic stuff.

Even if you don't like Singer/songwriter stuff this is good. I am not a big fan of singer songwriter but this to me has a similar feel to Iron and Wine - WOman King EP. Full acoustic sound, that at times sounds like he has a band backing him.

Edit: and it's not a "plug" it's an endorsement.

I just listened to the Pilots' CD.
It's real good.
Very different from the first one, a bit more polished and refined, but still excellent. Miah is one helluva songwriter.
Rock on, boys!

I got it today too!
I really like it. I love how the first song starts up slow and then rocks, and how my 3 favorite songs are the last three on the disc. It'll make people want to listen to the disc from start to finish.

I have some criticisms of the mixing of my favorite song, but I'll save that for another thread, and in general, I think the bass is under-appreciated and could be pumped up.

The last three songs are among the best, and that's definitely a great multitrack sequence, although I think my very favorite is the opener She Is A Ghost. I'm really interested to hear what your criticisms are of the mix on Way It Goes

Western Automatic Music = damn good.

I was thinking the same thing Todd was while listening. I love the opening track and Old Haunts. It's an instant head bobber and I'm all ready singing along.

I heard a rumor yesterday that I have a copy in the mail courtesy of a pretty cool dude.

Can't wait to FINALLY hear my favorite song by them on a cd.
