I am ghetto i guess, and I managed to snip about a half a centimeter of my ear lobe open.

I should enter that obner beard contest. I would win. hands down. I look like a Jew on Steroids.

Trimming a beard is definately a life skill we should be taught at school.

I recently tried to trim mine without a mirror and now I have a 'bald' patch on the left hand side of my beard where I misjudged slightly the amount I took off.

I said hi-fi, not state of the art.

A nice trick to use once you have a full beard is to gently groom it with a disposable razor to get rid of the excess overgrowth.

Yeah, snissors are waaaaay beyond my comprehension to trim my beard. I went through a period in college where I would screw up my beard even with a electric trimmer. I'm got a system down, and I'm happy with it. I gently skim across the surface when it looks like it needs some cleaning up. Also, if you want a semi-uniform look and you have enough accumulation, you can take yr index and middle finger and squeeze some hair between it, and shave off that bit that raises above them.

Hey mods, when is that beard forum gonna pop up?

My girl convinced me to shave my beard on new year´s eve. Feel so naked now. But what the girl wants...

i trimmed mine down way too far with a hair buzzer thing. i hardly have anything left. and to make matters worse i decided to keep the moustache so as to not feel incredibly naked, but now it looks like i was sporting just the stache at some point and that the rest is just coming back in.
