 Post subject: James Blunt sounds just like the Bee Gees.

We've apparently had his album in rotation at work for a short while. I honestly thought it was the Bee Gees' Love Songs. I was confused why I didn't know any of the songs, but I just wrote that off.

Finally, yesterday, I found out that it is in fact the Blunt album.

He's got the quavery-wavery heart-on-sleeve Bee Gees down pat, but the Gibbs actually songwriting skills are vastly superior to Blunt's.

You won't have "You're Beautiful" stuck in your head 38 years from now, but I bet most of us could still hum bits of "To Love Somebody" even though it was a hit when I was a year old.
