Well, somehow, Dallas managed to survive the most mongerous invasion since Jack Ruby left town. Me and jagged had the pleasure of accompanying The GARs (both The Senator and Future Ex-Mrs.) to Deep Ellum for a gig by hometown boys The Old 97's.

While it was a solid, if unspectacular, show, the presence of The GARs made it infinitely more memorable. That FEMGAR is a definite keeper, as she is a much cooler chick than the likes of the 6'9" beast should expect to land.

They took pics, but may have short-circuited the USB connection in post-NYE chest gravy...

Well said Bob. We had a blast. Strange how UNLOUD that show was, huh? Thankfully we didn't get too close or FEMGAR may have run off with Rhett (He sure is Purdy!)

I think she is ALMOST over the weirdness of meeting my inter-nerd friends...ALMOST. Pics will come when I can summon the strength to all that pluggin and clickin and draggin.

You'll also have to give FEMGAR's visage in the various shots the Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap treatment and place a black bar over her eyes.

Things were carefully orchestrated to ensure FEMGAR would remain behind the camera.

I'll only cut you slack if this so-called "hella busy" involved drunken Johnny Taint rehersals.

After the convo I had with him yesterday, I can only say that he pretty much did the opposite.

It's true. I am a sad shell of my former self.
