 Post subject: How to re-size a photo for use as avatar?

What's the easiest way for me to re-size a photo to use as an avatar? I'm a Mac user. My current one FT made for me.

i use irfanview. i think you can d/l it at irfanview.com or do a search for it. it's really easy to use. not sure if it's compatible with macs, but it's worth a shot.

if you are on a Mac you can use GraphicConverter. it should come with all newer Macs.

We prefer "caver", but yeah, that's part of what my Ph.D. work is all about about.

I'm a total newbie at this point; I've been in less than 20 caves.
