I can't believe my wife and I survived the 5 days debauchery.

Such a great city. For New Years we ended up eating at Fuego, a tapas joint, then went to the Dark Horse Pub, and then to Masquerade to catch Mastodon, which was just insane. Dunno if any of the ATL crew know where those are, but we had such a blast. I think they were in Virginia Highlands. It's a blur.

Shame I didn't get to meet up with anyone, but we'll be back very soon. We actually talked about a possible move up there in 2 years time, and looked up some properties.

Hope everyone's New Years was safe and fun.

I didn't even know about that Mastodon show until the night of, but I don't think I would've wanted to pay to get into the whole Masquerade NYE party thing. I live just about a mile or two from the Masquerade, btw.

I remember going to see Drivin' N' Cryin' on NYE @ the Masquerade...good times...I thought that place had closed down.

Don't know Fuego, but the Dark Horse is a damn cool place to go and I usually end up there each time I go home.

Dark Horse was great. Exactly what we were looking for at the time. Pints, The Beatles, and some very nice folks.

Jewels, no shit man. We ate like champs in Atlanta. bison, tapas, indian, irish. got all fat like.
