I'm drinking The Winter Of Empty Regret. It's a limited edition seasonal brew made especially for me. It's free, but there's nothing in the bottle.

I know when I lived in NH I was a vicious Scotch hound. They would have a weekly special on Scotch, so I'd go with what was cheapest.

In some sick sad ways I miss those times.

For this cold night in GA, I'm drinking Yellow Tail Cab.

Mmm...hot chocolate. Wish I could have some. Why must I be lactose intolerant? And, I'm sorry, hot chocolate made with soy milk just doesn't cut it.

You're right. I'm goin' straight whole milk, which otherwise would make me vomit.

S'ok, enjoy your hot cocoa. Got any cookies to go with it? Mmm...topped with a bit of whipped cream.

last night i had a bottle of "Chuck D's Mild Brown Ale No. 1", in the brown bottle.

The bottle conditioning's coming along with this batch, so it's no longer flat, but not fully carbonated. Gentle, mild brown ale, heavily hopped afterbite, with a hint of brown sugar in the aftertaste.

Tonight, I move a batch of "Chuck D's India Pale Ale" from the primary to a second fermenter to age for about another week before I bottle it.

I like making my own hooch, I really do.
