It's not that I don't appreciate photographers' experimentation. It's just the obssession with genitalia in art is so very tired.

I've never been a fan of artist fascination with the ugly side of genital-focused art, nor bought their claims that such is fascinating and beautiful. That just looks like gorilla pussy, basically.

I wouldn't call 334 views of your original thread as "nobody" wanting to look.

As a photographer, I find those photos interesting but not interesting enough to call them 'art'. Where photography is involved, I prefer photos with a more abstract flavour.

The "pubic hair" image looks more like a Mr Potato Head dressed as Hitler.

I prefer photos that don't say "hey look it's gorilla pussy and some weird ass dick-looking fruit thing" but that's just me.

And frankly this version just comes across as slightly disturbing to me.

And it's also just shocking to be shocking. That's been done to death, and better, long ago.

Photographic quality aside (because they are nice photos) there's nothing else to these besides that but "oh my stars! It's pubic fruit*!" reactions. And the baby figure coming out of the . . . whatever rotting fruit that is . . . just looks comical, not artistic.

*Even Curve did it before this photographer.
