There are actually only 3 cities in VA: Hampton Roads, NoVa, and Richmond. Everything else is backwoods fantasy.

I thought Portsmouth and Norfolk were one and the same, like Arlington and Alexandria.

Never thought of VA Beach as a "city".

I would imagine its one of those Metropolitan Statistical Area things (like in Atlanta for instance where you have to add up a bunch of cities to get the area's population) but the city of Virginia Beach is actually listed as the most populous with 439,467 people.

Portsmouth, Chesapeake, Virginia Beach, Norfolk are all separate cities. Although it is kind of like in California, not in population, but in that you just happen to cross a border of onme city into the next. one minute you're in Chesapeake, the next you're reading a sign that says "welcome to Va. Beach".

And trust me Yail, there are no "wild ass neighborhoods" in Virginia Beach. haha. IF anything, besides Richmond, I would say that Portsmouth and Hampton have the roughest places. After all, Iverson is from the ghetto of Hampton, VA. haha. that just sounds weird because I would go through these ghettos, where as the southside of chicago...not so much.

i also find it interesting that they say that Va. Beach is the most populous...what about Richmond?

that only counts as a city in the 18th century and on those days where candlemakers count as 1500 people.

and when beer is free at Busch Gardens
