I'm sure they'll have a bigger tour after the album comes out (in April?). I'm really looking forward to the new stuff.

I have never been to Middle East in Cambridge, but heard it is a good venue. In a strange aligning of the planets, there is a barley wine event at a nearby bar in Cambridge the same day :)

Mazarin's opening the show at the Mid East (all dates?). Which is cool. Not too sure if I'm going to this one or not...I doubt the Walkmen could ever put on a bad show, but I'm happy with the shows I've seen them do in the past few years.

The Mid East is probably my least favorite mid-sized (500+) club venue in town, though I can't say there's really one I actually like...

Mazarin should be headlining by now. I can't believe the bands they're opening for aren't opening up for them.

Yes, because clearly "Mazarin," whoever the hell they are, will pull in the people like the Walkmen would.

Yes, I get that the Walkmen have a bigger draw, but I still think Mazarin have put out better records. You should give them a listen. I wasn't trying to hate on your favorite band.

Naw, I don't mind the Walkmen (although "The Rat" is my least favorite of their tunes). I just happen to love the haters.

I was stuck at work late and couldn't make it out. Did anyone make it there in time to see Keys to the Streets of Fear? Love those guys. The really skinny guitarist (glasses, Elvis Costello chic) is one of many "5th Savants" and usually does our sound outside of town.
