I post there randomly too. It used to be more often, but since they reset the board a couple times I kept going back to zero, which left me no credibility, so I sort of lost interest in trying to prove myself. Now I only go there when obner is down, or I am really bored and this place is dead.

but I have posted in other forums before for informational purposes, like when I was researching the Prius, or doing research on tech stuff for work.

I posted a few times on a Duran Duran board, but those people are nuts. And not in a good way.

My main board= audiokarma.org, where I have an Elvis Fu- type post count - mostly geeky old frints like me talking about geeky, old (and some new) stereo eqpt. They do have a music forum, although it's mostly a NP-type thing, though.

Increasingly rarely, over at Rave Recs. Several long-term regulars who are very musically knowledgeable, but man is that place ever a morgue, as far as activity.

they've had the .com for awhile, maybe mid/late-2004? both work, though. a few months ago, some people had a problem with the board loading and it turned out to be related to signing in under .net, so the mods asked everyone to start using the .com.

I used to be on a Tori Amos listserv. OMG! I referred to myself self-deprecatingly, and someone flamed me for flaming me. I had to explain that since it was me, that I knew that I was alright with it. (And no, this was not two different personas.)

Morgues at least have caretakers. This is a ghost town. Although Davey just did a nice job of stirring things up a bit, and not in a bad way.

I keep posting at the old CMJ site, just to occasionally annoy the street-teamers and that Nickisnotdead dude.

I post as Roy Pearl on the messageboard at Ian Hunter's site. I'm so popular there that there's a thread titled "Roy Pearl is a crackwhore and should fuck off". Needless to say, I return frequently.

I also post as Roy Pearl at Diggity Dawg's fine forum The Dawghouse, where I've earned the nickname Mr. Anti-metal (and I wear that nametag proudly).

And recently I've been having some fun at Hockeyrefs.com, which is a whole message board of hockey referees who get REEEALLY pissed off when you call them a collection of idjits who weren't good enough to play hockey.

I've also registered at Garagepunk.com, but have yet to post anything.

mainly here though I check out RadioInfo.com---its a really geeky collection of either people who are in the business or are just obsessed by radio. I rarely post (and then only in the Sports or Atlanta Forums) and mainly just read rumours, gossip, and innuendo and get information and news about XM and internet streaming......

Those people are really sensitive so I find it best to just shut up because my inclination is to insult them all.

It was an EZ-board based one. EZ-board has universal username function so I was constantly getting logged in as "Paxilrod," which is my wife's username on The Remy Report Red Sox "RemDawg" message board.

I post at 20hz.ca, the Montreal board, very sparingly, because Obner rules it.
