This is latest news I've got.

Regardless, either Tejeda or Floyd will go from the Phillies and one of the three from the above list will be going to Philadelphia from Boston, likley candidates right now to be moved are Tejeda and Soppach. Boston may want both Floyd and Tejeda but that issue is not considered a deal-breaker....

Why does Boston do this? Abreu is going to be quickly flipped to Baltimore for Miguel Tejada straight up and J-Mike will find himself as the replacement for Johnny Damon in CF at Fenway. Tejada wanted to go to Boston all along, and only withdrew his trade request when it seemed "very likely" he was going to the Phillies.... It wasn't anything against the Phillies, he just wanted to stay at SS and in the AL (Billy Sample on MLB Radio)

Why would the O's trade Tejeda for Abreu within division after he's withdrawn his trade demands. Doesn't make any sense even recognizing that the O's aren't run well and don't always do things that make sense.

Weren't you making similar posts about the Phillies' imminent signing of Andy Pettite a few years ago.

Just to clarify...on the Phillies board I post, we have a poster who once in a while would come on to post a forthcoming deal. He informed us on the Eric Milton trade, the Billy Wagner trade, the Kevin Millwood trade, etc., days before they happened. We later found out that the poster was a scout in the Phillies organization who got fired when Ed Wade got fired. He came on after that and let us know that he won't have any other information due to the fact that he wasn't with the Phillies anymore. Anyway, this past Monday, he came back on to the board and announced that Manny would be coming to the Phillies so naturally, we believed him due to his prior track record. Anyway, yesterday, the real poster E-mailed the board moderator to tell him that his account had been hacked and it was indeed the hacker who posted this rumor. So there you have it...

It was fun while it lasted though, since it was a fun few days of board wars with the Red Sox fans.
