I hear ya, Loog... it's only a chore if you don't want to do it, but it sounds like you want to be there for your girl, and that's admirable.

when you are married you both have to do crap you don't like to do out of love. as far as movies - for every depressing indie movie I drag her to I have to watch some romantic comedy pos. and for every sporting event we attend I have to go to some antique stores. that's just the way it goes sometimes. haha.

Living apart is harder than I ever imagined.

Tonight I'm drinking beer, watching Malcolmn in the Middle for certain, and other then that who knows. Netflix delivered War of the Worlds yesterday, but I don't think I'm in the mood to watch it.

Saturday, I work for a few hours, then nothing.

Sunday, FOOTBALL. I'M FUCKING DYING WITH ANTICIPATION. The Bears better not blow it.

My friend took me to some fucking hole in NOLA and we got fried shrimp po' boys for lunch. Had half the sandwich for lunch, half for dinner and had all the shrimp that fell off the sandwich as hungover brunch the next day.

Tommorow: Go sign lease for new apartment. Perhaps cruise by Amoeba since its only a few minutes away  Various additional errands if time allows (furniture shop, etc)...Go to see Wanda Jackson tomorrow night assuming its not sold out

Sunday: Laundry, gym, maybe do shmoo poll if I have time

Monday: debating whether to work or not

FRI: Actually just got a surprise visit from Mr./Mrs. Cap'n Squirggle (in town on emergency family business). Had some beers and shot the shit at Redlands. Good times, good folks. Now waiting to see what gf wants to do when she gets done working.....

SAT: Laundry. Football. Mongering. Wanted to do some yardwork but it rained like crazy today and got cold again soooooo. NO.

SUN: Probably skip the 1:00 game b/c gf and I need to go do some shopping (Pet Smart, Cost Plus, and I need some new cologne so I'm wisely taking a consultant); then back to the crib for the Bears/ Panthers game that will most likely end in a 5-3 score.

Well, scratch the Helio Sequence show I was supposed to go to tonight. I'm still at work and hating it.

Not to mention that I now have to work a half day on Monday.

Someone bring me dinner!

got my new furniture in my apartment. yet. neither the bed or the computer desk are put together yet. :(

this is the biggest monstrous bed EVER. (but i'm going to love, love, LOVE it! yay. finally. my very own princess bed!)

hopefully i'll at least get the desk put together the rest of the way today (my friend's dad is supposed to come help me.) so that i can finally start getting my house put back together. (it's absolutely wrecked with all the stuff i've been storing in my spare bedroom for the past 3 years.)

I don't know actually, but if you search google images for princess bed, you get a bunch of pics like that.

ha ha. no. that picture is DEFINITELY not a princess bed.

there is really no explanation for it. it's just what i call beds that are kind of high off the ground. which is what my new bed is. so, i call it a princess bed. i don't even think my cats are going to be able to jump up on it.

(oh, my god. that picture is hilarious. i would NEVER own something like that.)
