Automatic Camera situated 7 miles from blast with 10 foot lens. Shutter speed equaled 1/1000,000,000 of-a-second exposure.

I saw a documentary a while back called Trinity and Beyond and it showed dozens of great nuclear explosions. I'm sure it's available on a torrent site somewhere.

aside from the fact of what they are, those pics are amazing! they would be so cool on a black tshirt! if for nothing else but to remind us of the damage they could do.

Trinity and Beyond is pretty amazing--bomb porn at its finest. Tons of jaw-dropping declassified footage.

I was all over this after the Lump of Approval, but then I see the narrator. It succeeds even with Shatner?

You think Shatner's melodramatic, wait till you hear the score!

Actually, neither the narration or the score bothered me, though I certainly noticed them. It's worth at least a rental.

(Don't bother with the 3D footage--it's just as useless as any 3D I've ever seen on video.)

There's a bunch of little Quick Time blast shots on the filmmaker's website.
