Damn...9 discs. I might have a contender for that Best Buy gift card.

Quote:
The complete list of re-releases now available from Yep Roc includes Life's A Riot With Spy Vs. Spy and Brewing Up With Billy Bragg, as well as Talking With The Taxman About Poetry, all available in deluxe double-disc reissues. The EPs The Internationale and Live And Dubious are packaged on one disc with a bonus DVD.

All of the releases are also available in a nine-disc box set titled Volume One which includes two bonus DVDs with previously unavailable live and documentary footage, and a 48-page full-color book.

If the price on Amazon is to be believed it should be fairly cheap. A must have for a big Bragg fan like myself.

Twice I've had tickets to see him and both times the show was cancelled - once in college - due to lack of ticket sales - damn.

This would never have happened if the state sponsored the concert and gave all the tickets to the proletariat.

It appears that it's an import, so people may want to make sure the DVD is not region 2. Unless you've got a region-free player, of course.

The box sounds awesome, but I think I'll end up picking up the individual releases, just because I can justify spending the money better that way.

Yep Roc is releasing it, so wherever they are out of, is I would think what region it would be.

If you pre-order from them, and are one of the first 100 people to do so, you get a autographed BB postcard.

I was discussing the reissues with SO today and am still not quite convinced that I should replace my $12 copy of Back to Basics with two $20 copies of Life's A Riot and Brewing Up (assuming that between the wars will make it to the bonus tracks.)

What happened to '"Pay no more than $4.99" stickers and all that?

I probably wouldn't buy these seperately. The boxset, to me, makes it worthwhile. Best Buy is selling it for $63.99, which for 9 discs is worthwhile to me at least.
