...had sex to Marvin Gaye's "Let's Get It On"?

I was talking about this with someone the other day and we concluded that as soon as the first wah wah waaaah bit right at the start plays, whoever you're about to get down with would get up and leave, or at least laugh.

I hate this song. That would go triple for this scenario.

No way. I do believe I would leave if a girl started that beforehand.

I thought that this was a song chicks dig more than guys do. Is that not right?

(and I agree with almost!)

I love the song, never had sex to it, and I've definitely heard worse during sex...

Ha ha!

I'd love it if someone played this at the right moment! Provided they weren't serious about it. Laughter is a great aphrodisiac!

Shit, I had a guy put on Earth, Wind & Fire right before we started doing our thing. Marvin Gaye? I'd think it was cheesy, but wouldn't stop me from doing what I wanted.

Of course, if the guy can't perform no matter what music is on -- that's another problem altogether.

Using it for seduction is laughable to anyone with half a brain.... but objectively it's not a bad song, just way overplayed. Listen to the vocal arrangements, bass line... looping rock-steady rhythm.

I ususally have sex to ESPN playing in the background.

You have just confirmed that you are a woman. Laughter is like the opposite of an aphrodisiac for men. I'm not saying sex can't be fun, and there can't be smiles and maybe a little silliness, but outright laughter...no.

I disagree, and I'm a man. It's just gotta be obvious that the girl isn't laughing at you. In fact, there should be some outright laughter at some point.

The woman can laugh, I'm just saying that a guy can't laugh and have sex at the same time.

I think I have actually.

I mean, we're not gonna listen to Feist or Postal Service every time so sometimes I wanna listen to something cheesy and obvious. It's fun.
