After owning this album, is there a need to get anything else by the Animals?

Right now, I am just a casual fan. I don't know anything outside of the tracks on here. So I'm just wondering if there other stuff is as good. Also, if there's decent remasters or extended editions or anything.

IMHO, No.

And with the exception of House of the Risiing Sun, I'm not sure there's a good reason to get anything else by the Animals before buying this album. And I've heard better versions of that song anywhow, so I take that back.

But thats just my opinion, your mileage may vary.

Don't know what the complete track listing of that one is, but for my money, it needs to have When I was Young and Burdon's cover of River Deep, Mountain High on it.

Also, semi-related, I read somewhere last week that Burdon just released a new cd of straight blues covers. Sounded interesting.
