Are people not working today? It's not the usual busy Monday on Obneria.

It's someone's birthday today, so they have the day off.

But whose birthday is it? Huh?

This is my last day before class cranks up again. I plan on dicking around. Maybe take 2 hours to finish my coffee, then a trip to the bank, possibly on the motorcycle if it warms up past 38.

I'm tying up loose ends on the old job and getting revved up on the new one, so I'm going in a few directions at once.
Loving it, though. This new gig is pretty flippin' sweet.

Like most civil servants, I have the day off. Just got back from cross-country skiing with my daughter. Now I'm thinking about cracking a beer and a book.

I have two paintings left to do and one to perfect and another to touch up for a critique tomorrow. Only one is actually finished completely, well pretty much. I could do a little more to it.
I also want to see my friend off to Boston. She's heading back for school today at 4. :(
I also have to clean the cave I live in. On top of that I have to study for exams and do homework. Then, BlueMilk wants me to go to Plan 9. I don't know if everything is going to work. I'm just glad I don't work tonight.
Today is not slow for me. Though i'm making it slow by posting on Obner and updating my blog and listening to music rather than getting anything done.

Step one to cleaning my room: Take month old banana out of bag with oil paints in it because I may want to use those oil paints one day.

The banana was blue, and it had white foam all over it. It smelled so strong I probably could have passed out.
I feel nauseous, but like I cleaner person for finally getting it out of my room.

I just forgot it was there, until a few days ago whe nI started smelling banana but I was too intimidated to clean it out.

i got all the way to the parking lot of my work today before i realized i left my laptop at home.

now i'm "working from home", trying to decide whether i want to go to the gym at lunch, or just eat a couple sammiches here.

We're closed on mondays so this is my normal day off.

Woke up at 6:40 because son was dropped off to me because school is closed. Curled up with him and watched tv, ate breakfast, spent some time trying to wake up very sleepy husband.

Then showered and took son to a follow up dr's appt. Grabbed some lunch. We're home and he just wants to spend the day chilling out and watching movies and playing.

Tried to get him to go to the Shedd Aquarium but he was ever the so smart one and said "no, I really want to stay home and besides I think today will be REALLy crowded". Smart smart boy. For he would be right.

I"m gonna go read for a bit while he plays with his toys.
