I've really cut back on my webboarding...

Used to post a lot on thenoiseboard.com. Kinda gave up the ghost on that finally.

I still frequent honeypump, but rarely post these days.

I really enjoy livejournal and blogs.

The thing that makes ILM special is you have all the best posters from hipinion (geoff, rentboy, fandango) best from Sounds board (The Good Dr. Bill, Yancy, Bill Hickman) and best from Obner (BeeOK, WhineyCMJ, Fastnbulbous (wait those last two only post on ILM these days) actually there are about a dozen or so from Obner that are on there. They also have all the writers from Pitchforkmedia, Stylus ect.

People say the interface sucks but if you actually know why they use it you realize that it does make for a better board. By not having aviators or signatures everything is archived and rarely any crashes. So from the very beginning of the board everything is there in the search feature and reading post from years ago, when they get bumped, is the greatest thing ever (former poster Nick Kilroy overdose was the most profound thing I have ever read on any message board). You get hammered it you don’t use the search, again I love that because it makes for a better board, and you have to be a hard-core music geek for the most part. 135-music threads per day where you can love what you love and only get hammered if you don’t know what the hell you are talking about.

They are doing the best of 2005 right now and for the most part it is better than any other list I have seen all year.

what is wrong with rachel stevens? come and get it is one of the best pop albums of the last couple years. robyn has good singles like "be mine" and "bum like you", but i haven't really dug into the rest of her latest record.
