Man, don't know why I haven't heard this until now. Awesome album. Couldn't hardly get any better as far as the type of stuff I like - hooks aplenty, riffs, clever lyrics, passion. This would have made my top 3 for sure. For someone who loves The Replacements, Superchunk, Dinosaur Jr. - this is just what the Dr. ordered.

What are everyone else's thoughts on this? I really think there could be 3 or 4 hits off this album (in some alternate universe, of course).

i like it.
it's the most "superchunky" portastatic album i've heard.

a portastatic "best of" would prove to be pretty awesome.

it's pretty "poppy", but sometimes I am in the mood for that.

still surprised that not more people are talking about this album. it seems like every few months someone else gets the eureka moment with it.

i'm working on a painting that looks shockingly similar to the cover.
it kind of freaked me out.

It's very different from Bright Ideas (mostly mellow and piano/keyboard driven), but quite tasty.

This is pretty fucking great. I'm sorry that I haven't heard it sooner. I foresee many happy returns.
