has anyone heard these guys?

There's a few tracks up over at Spoilt Victorian Child (which is in itself a completely awesome mpg blog) that the author compares to Pavement a few times. I can definitely hear the resemblance, but no more than a hundred other bands that have been said to sound like Pavement. Anyways, I really like these two tracks.

Yeah they recently toured the UK and created a bit of buzz. Albums pretty good as well. Definite Pavement sound.

I saw them open for Clem Snide and Troubled Hubble here in Lincoln last spring, and then I believe they played here sometime this fall. I thought they were decent, but am a little surprised they are making a name for themselves abroad.

LIked them alot at first, but my interested has waned.

There's a band called Hockey Island that sounds like a rough Oranges Band.
