I'm really enjoying these three quite a bit as well.

I'm also gonna throw out there that the new Belle & Sebastian is KICKING MY ASS. So good. I think it's their best yet.

There is also a DBT record coming out soon. *rubs hands together* Hells yeah.

Yeah, DBTs and Strokes battle for top spot this year, most likely.

I need another rap album as tight as that Jeezy, tho.

From what I've heard of the new Liars album, it sucks.

Listening to this right now for the first time and have to agree with you. It looks like I may have my first disappointment of the year.

Word. I've been meaning to ask you your take on the B&S album. Does it not rule the roost?

I guess the new Outkast will be out at some point. Maybe TI or someone will drop a new joint for some hard shit.

I've listened a few times and would say its a disappointment for me so far. While I enjoyed the drums and drone of their last album, a whole album of it doesn't appeal to me. Maybe repeated listens will reveal more.

belle & sebastian is all i've heard so far this year; but it's great: very much looking forward to loose fur; especially after hearing "the ruling class"

and i'm not using semicolons to be pretensious or anything; they are easier to get to than comma on this french keyboard

I don't think I've listened to a single '06 release yet.

So far the only things I've seen mentioned that I'm even interested in are Mastodon and Boris (waiting to buy the US release before I hear it).
