I don't like older men. Probably because i'm 17 and the only men to give me attention are three times my age.
I like nice, intellectual guys.
Maybe women like older men because they tend to act more mature. I don't know, though. I'm 17, what do I know?

I prefer women my age or older, these days. I just don't "get" the younger generation.

While I agree with the statement, my 'niche' has seemed to be with the women 3-5 years older than me

And what's that thing where women have to call their guy by his proper name. He can't be "Matt". No, she can only refer to him as "Matthew". What is that?

that's sex-specific? i do this with all of my friends unless they tell me that they don't want to be called by their proper name. then again, this is coming from a james who's spent years telling people that it's not jim.

My girlfriend is 22.
I'm 29 (going on 30 this may).
Another thing that helps is that i don't look my age.

She is alot more mature than I am.

I totally agree that age is just a number.

No, that's different. That's a major pet peeve of mine. My father has the same James/Jim thing as well.

This is more when even Matt is accepted and commonplace by the guy in question, but the girlfriend damn near refuses to abbreviate it. It doesn't really work with all names, though.

I had a friend in college named Drew. Introduced himself as Drew, parents called him Drew, everyone called him Drew. Except his girlfriend. Andrew. Another one: not Josh, but Joshua.

I do that just to distinguish myself from others.

Dan is always Daniel. Andy is always Andrew. Josh is always Joshua.

So you would call Frank Zappa 'Francis'? Sorry, that's just wrong.

I have some people call me 'Pete' -- it doesn't bother me. Pete, Peter, or Dusty, I'll answer to any of them. L, my roommate in college called me 'Petrovski'. He even accidentally said it on the phone to my dad, once, '...oh, how you doing Mr. Petrovski...I mean...' [i](blush).

That was great, I'll remember that forever.

Worse yet, when they change it to Geoffrey. Jeff/Jeffrey is a good one, too.

Did you bury that bitch outside Titusville or float the body out with the Gulf Stream?

just curious.

Actually, don't answer that.......

Staring at the wrong end of a .357 in the hands of a maniac is not recommended calmative therapy. Even though my lawyer still wakes up smiling, at least I still wake up. Smiling bigger. And, just to stay on topic, she was 6 yrs younger than me.
