I'm probably getting a new digital camera for my birthday next month. But I've wanted an instant camera for a while, as well. The problem was, when I had money and went looking before, I really had no idea about which brand is decent, which model is good, or even where to go to buy those kinds of cameras. When I bought my last digital camera, I just went to Radio Shack.

So any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. I'm not looking for top of the line, but I'd like one that's fairly decent.

Polaroid is a dead medium. They've shut down a bunch of plants etc. The price of "film" alone should be a big sign pointing to no. If you buy a Polaroid camera, I guarantee you'll be rebuying a camera within like 6 mos.

go with digital. I still shoot 35mm, but that day is quickly closing in with the number of companies producing filmstocks falling by the wayside.
