And apparently Afrirampo is touring the west coat in March. Hopefully they'll add some east coast dates.

Anyone ever see them live?

Yes, in a parking lot in Queens this past summer amongst a slew of other bands. Pretty heavy. Not my favourite of the lot, but a spectacle nonetheless.[/img]

It's pretty good. It sounds like Kawabata having a good time with some friends and really not much more. However, they do sound like they really did have a good time and that the representatives from each band fed off of each other pretty well. There's not much Kawabata has ever done that hasn't been good and teh second track on here The Exorcist of Love is a stand out track, so I do recommend it at least for a listen if not a purchase.

Also felt the need to point out Pika's percussion work on this, possibly the best percussion work on a Kawabata album to date.

Anyways, I ran across an Acid Mothers w/Kinski album today. Has anyone checked it out? I'm not big on Kinski so I have my doubts but figured I'd ask before writing it off.

I don't like it much. I'm not really a big AMT fan, though. Fans of the band might enjoy it more.

I never thought much of it either, but I'm also not a big AMT fan. I like Mainliner, though.
