I am in awe regarding the coffee intake of some of you people. I quit caffeine a couple of years ago, so if I have even a half cup of coffee I'm shaking badly.

Good for you. I like to as well but dont much anymore. Cant break it completely, but less is more I figure.

Yep, me too. I smoke on Friday now, that's it. One day a week. It's a fixed ratio type thing so I don't think about it during the week. Although tomorrow at this time, I'll be frothing for that smoke.

on second cup of coffee, still no dice. i don't know what the hell is wrong with me.

i haven't had my morning cig either, but i can't even smoke right now. been smoking too many cigs lately (due to stress). so bad. :/

<--- went out drinking and dancing with bf & roomie last night until 3am.

<-- drank: 1 gin & tonic, 1 black russian, 1 sambuca shot, 1 rum & coke, and one other shot which I don't remember.

<-- got up at 7:30am for work

<-- drank: 1 double espresso, 1 single espresso, 1 large regular coffee.

In keeping with my Montreal reputation there was no hangover whatsoever... just sleepiness. Awwwwe yeah.

I generally drink two 20 oz. cups five days of the week.

Have no idea how much coffee I drink, but it starts at 6:30 am (3:30 am Saturdays because of early work) and starts to taper off about 4 pm or so. I think there might be a span of time during that when I'm not sipping, but I've not actually counted.

Caffeine does almost nothing to wake me up. I've had 6 or more cups in an hour before (several times, actually), and I still nodded off multiple times at my desk.

Now you've got me thinkiing about how much coffee I actually drink and maybe it's not a good thing.

i have a couple mugs with breakfast, take 2 20 oz. thermal tumblers to work, and generally have more coffee when i get home or am at a gig.

I generally have one or two smokes with breakfast, another during reading block when i'm not teaching, one after lunch (before lunch duty), one on my prep period (tuesdays I have two preps), and various other smokes through the day, then one before bed.

It used to be a pack or two a day, now i'm at like a pack every two days.

That's because it costs about 90 bucks a pack now.

i'm on 2 already, will no doubt conquer 5 more before i start boozing this afternoon.

for a couple weeks
ill drink coffee every weekday

then i start to get the craps
so i lay off for a few days
then i go crawling back

eating lots of cheese helps
block me up a little bit

I don't normally hit up the coffee here at work. Its pretty much sub Guatelmalan migrant worker grade. I became a bit of a coffee snob when I worked as a barista, now that I don't do that anymore, I've sort of lost my palette, but still have a slight distiquishing taste.

I don't need to look at that bulge every time he posts, surely.
