This would be a great approach if by subtle I had meant blatant. Maybe I should give Loogar some drugs and alcohol and let him wreck shop.

Loog, something tells me you've been in this position many times before.

This is why I have no wife, girlfriend or prospects at the moment. My bullshit -o-meter is set on KILL at all times, and I can't turn it down. And people who know me know I can't just not say anything either.

Someone accused me recently of "thinking I'm better than everyone else" I said "It took you THIS LONG to notice?"

Or I could just stare at my wife's hot 24 year old former sorority sisters who will be in attendance.

HA HA HA, you guys are such snobs. ;)

I nod my head, smile politely, and just go in the direction of where the alcohol is.

Also at least you have events to go to. I pretty much stay at home all day.

And I'm a first year college kid. I'm supposed to be fucked up every night.

Yeah, no shit, these are the times you're gonna try to remember later.
You should be out drinking heavily, and trying to mack on every girl in sight.

I didn't even know what a fucking "message board" was in college, but I am sure I would have vehemently made fun of those I knew were using them

And Lunch, and Dinner, and an inbetween snack. and bat tokes on Sanford Bridge, and behind the philosophy building, and doing nitrous from trash bags...the list goes on.

Just be supportive, go, don't be an ass, make small talk, change the subject away from any art form, and AFTER you get home...

Remind your wife of all the guy points you just earned, and try and cash them in for a concert, or a sex fantasy or something.

Keep your eyes on the prize!
