not sure if you lot can help or not, but its worth a try

why do my web pages not display properly? both IE and Firefox dont work on this new computer of mine - they simply fail to load some images (im not talking about red x's, im talking completely missing)/login boxes etc

it wasnt a major problem (missing a coupla pics on ob isnt a problem) but when trying to access my router i cant even get the login box to come up - i get errors like this

Line: 203
Char: 21
Error: Expected 'j'
Code: 0

this

Line: 31
Char: 1
Error: 'jtips' is undefined
Code: 0

and this

Line: 67
Char: 1
Error: 'logintips' is null or not an object
Code: 0

i mean i have some basic html knowledge but i cant figure out why both firefox and IE arent displaying the pages correctly

Not a clue. What follows is a guess:

New computer? Perhaps it's configured differently. I believe on some browsers, you can configure it so that images only display from the same server from which the html was downloaded.

But those other things are completely unfamiliar to me, so I really doubt that's the case. Go to windowsupdate.microsoft.com and make sure IE and the rest of your OS is up-to-date, start with that. Then possibly turn off any firewalls you may have -- you could be having conflicts between firewalls -- you can usually only run one at a time.
