Gonna come back in second half...and Seahawks win in overtime. Smith will catch 10 passes for 120 yards in second half. No, I am not smoking my rug.

I'm guessing D. Marco is in desperate need of dry pants right about now.

Getting close FT, but not to that point yet. I'm quite a pessimist.

Who should've been there? Indy? Natti? Bears? No.

Remember that Rams v. Titans or Ravens v. G-men...I guess G-men had NYC, but still. ZZZZZZ. This one has some potential.

Holmgren returns to SBowl, and Favre hasn't made it back. Cowher, with his least heralded team makes the big game again. (Keep Rothlesburger away from whoever bought Neil O'Donnell ;) ) Sorry Marco, et al, nothin against y'all but Hines Ward and Verron Haynes play for the Steelers, so I'm rolling with the former Dawgs. Femgar will be pulling for SeaTac, though, as Shaun Alexander is a Tide Rolla!!

No problem Loogs---I'm in a haze, and don't care who is rooting for who now. Seattle is going to the Superbowl---30 years of frustration ends tonight. Fuck yeah.

I figured. I'm not sure anyone else in the NFC could've come close to Seattle today.

The only reason I'd want the Steelers to win is to see Bettis finally win.

I'm hoping Seattle wins.

Those are exactly my thoughts. I don't like Pittsburgh at all, but I am a fan of Bettis.

See pg. 1.

These were the two easiest games to pick of the playoffs. Pittsburgh being on a monster roll going against 'mountain man' Plummer.

And all Seattle really had to do was to take Smith away (which they did most effectively), and it was in the bag. Carolina quit in the second quarter. Never thought I'd see that.

Again, I'm not sure what you're talking about here. Their starting RBs were injured, and that's about it. Do you really think Stephen Davis or Deshawn Foster would have won this game for Carolina?

All I know is that Seattle just dominated a team that beat the Bears fairly handily on their home field last week.

Glad the Seahawks made it. They have been sort of my adopted team for several years for their tendency to draft and start former UGA players. Not so many are on the team now, save Mack Strong. I finally have someone to root for in the Superbowl.

Can any of you New Yorkers recommend a good bar to watch the Superbowl--I'm going to be in Manhattan on Super Sunday, and need a good place to see the game. The hotel bar at the midtown Hilton didn't cut it last year.

I'm going for Steelers since Cowher is a NC State guy. Seattle owned us today though. Wasn't pretty at all.

I'm not from the city, but when I get down there I always frequent the Ginger Man. If you are into micro-brews this is a great place. Close to 70 taps and a few beer engines can certainly enhance anyone's time. Not sure if they'll be sporting the SB though.

Another bar I went to the last time I was there was House of Brews. A new place that seems to focus on sports and beers. Not as many taps as the GM, but quality nonetheless.[/i]

maybe because they watched the tape of the Bears game and in doing so learned how not to suck on defense during the playoffs.

Probably, they did everything the Bears failed to do.
