i had left my phone in my hotel today and was out till just now. I was curious to what had went on last night after you left....

Hey Tania, so sorry to hear about this, but glad everything turned out better than you thought. I too know how scary it is to spend the night in a hospital, not knowing how things will turn out. How is your mom doing today? Take care...

My thoughts and prayers are with you, Tania. I know exactly how you feel. I've been through similar events. My mom was hospitalized due to sepsis which lowered her blood pressure and affected her breathing, only to fully recover.

Many respects for being there for your mom. I know far too many people who wouldn't do that.

Meant to comment earlier, T. I'm soo sorry to hear it.

Right after I got my mom her first cell phone, she fell in the carport and broke her ankle in like 4 places. Dragged herself over to the car, crying, and reached up and and and got her purse and called me (and an ambulance). Without it, she'd have been there for a loooong time before anyone noticed, unless a neighbor heard her.

Oh gosh, Kyle, your poor mom!! Glad to know she got help straight away.

Just thought I'd let ya know that my mom is still in SICU -- her prognosis has improved considerably and is feeling much better. She's getting moved the Cardiac Care Unit tomorrow and will continue to be monitored. Her spirits are fairly good, which should make her recovery that much quicker. Whew!

Can we do dinner on Wednesday evening before the Film School show? I would love to see ya.

Sure, why don't we have dinner at the Indian restaurant on the same block of The Troub. They've good food. I'd like to meet fairly early, though...say around 6pm?

Well, I don't get off work until 6, so that might be rough. Especially to get from Miracle Mile to WeHo... hmm, we'll figure something out. I'll e-mail you tomorrow. I do plan on going (but it really matters how how work goes). I want to catch Colored Shadows, they're the first band playing (really great live). If not, we can re-schedule to do dinner another night, since now I'm working in the area and it'll be easier for me to meet up! ;)
