Despite the football, I realize it is a big deal. But Kobe can wear a tutu, score 81 points, molest the nearest referee, and facial Shaq with a sick dunk, and MJ will still be better.

Kobe is very talented, but without Shaq, he'd likely have 0 rings instead of three. The true test of his talent will be his ability to take a Shaq-less team on his back to win a title.

I once saw Allen Iverson drop 60 points live in a non-overtime game...that was sweet.
